Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone at Mobile World Congress in February or March. The phone is getting regulatory approval before launch. Recently the phone has now received EMVCo certification. The phone has received certification with approval number MTA_LOA_XICC_05291, which confirms that the global version (model number 25010PN30G) will support Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. The EMVCo listing also revealed that the smartphone will work on Xiaomi’s new operating system HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. The same was revealed in previous rumors about the flagship phone. Recently it has been revealed that Xiaomi 15 Ultra has appeared on many certification platforms including SDPPI, EEC, 3C, MIIT, BIS and IMEI. These certifications indicate that the device is nearing its official launch, which is expected to hit China next month, followed by a global rollout.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Specifications

According to reports, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a micro-quad-curved design, a 2K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phone will work on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is expected to be available in 15 Ultra. This phone is expected to have up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage.

The camera setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT 900 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide snapper, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto camera, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto camera with 100x AI-based hybrid zoom support. For selfies, it is expected to have a 32-megapixel front facing camera. This phone will be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
