Woman in court to kill a child found in the pond

A woman has accused of killing a two -year -old girl, who died after being found in a village pond.
Annabel McKay was discovered on 10 September 2023 at Kingsley Pond near Bordan, when he reported the disappearance. He died a day later.
42 -year -old Alice McKer, Okhangar, Basingstok Magistrate of Gibbs Lane appeared to face a count of murder in the court.
She has been sent to custody since then and is scheduled to appear in the Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
Annabel’s father First released a tribute For his daughter, describing her as a “glowing star”, who would “love” forever.
While appearing in court, wearing pink hoodie and jeans, Alice McKay only spoke to confirm her name, address and date of birth.
On Sunday 10 September 2023, after disappearing from his home at Forge Road, Kingsley on Sunday 10 September 2023, he was accused of death of Annabel.
The police later dropped a house on the road, which is about 1,500 feet (460 meters) from the large pond.
Alice McKay’s parents were sitting in a public gallery during a short hearing.
Regarding the murder charge, District Judge Stephen Apted said: “This is an allegation that can only be dealt with in the Crown Court, so I am going to send your case to the Winchester Crown Court.
“This court is banned from listening to any bail application, so I will send you to custody for your presence in Crown Court.”
