Since BBC News reported on Thursday that REWS had exaggerated his online CV and was examined on the use of expenses while working in Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS), Labor colleagues made a strong defense of Chancellor.

The BBC News investigation has revealed that the concerns about Reaves’ expenses had increased while working in HBOS between 2006 and 2009.

What did HR manager say?

Vepper spoke to the BBC after Reeves’ team allowed to do so.

He said that his expenses were “signed” properly and “no problem was raised” during his time at the bank.

His expenses were signed by his manager, who were also one of the three employees who were the subject of checking expenses.

In May 2009, Reavs left the bank, as his boss did. The other senior managers were on sick leave in May and never returned to work in the bank.

There is no suggestion that any departure was associated with issues of investigation or spending and a spokesman of Reavs said that Chancellor left the bank on good terms.

What has BBC News established about her LinkedIn CV?

Reeves has accepted the findings of another part of our investigation, this time on his CV.

We established that the Chancellor exaggerated the length of the time worked in the Bank of England.

Reeves has often said that it spent the “best part of a decade” while working in a bank while establishing voters to run the economy.

However, her LinkedIn Profile said she worked for only six years – from September 2000 to December 2006. One year of that time was spent in studying at the London School of Economics (LSE).

The BBC has now established that Reaves left the Bank of England in March 2006, meaning that it worked for five and a half years to work there.

A spokesperson of Reeves confirmed that the dates on his linkedIn were wrong and said it was due to an administrative error by the team. His profile on the social media site has been updated since then.
