Tsunami warning issued after magnitude 7 earthquake in California
A massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Northern California, according to the US Geological Survey.
The earthquake prompted tsunami warnings to be issued for the coasts of both Northern California and Southern Oregon.
The epicenter of the earthquake was marked near Ferndale, California, a small town in Humboldt County.
It was not immediately clear whether the earthquake caused any damage.
