Trump says

According to President Donald Trump, Russia is led to US authorities to discuss a possible ceasefire in Ukraine.
The news came after Ukrainian officials agreed to the 30-day ceasefire after a much awaited meeting with US authorities in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, state secretary Marco Rubio said that “the ball is actually in his (Russian) court” and the US believes that the only way to end the fight is through peace talks.
Kremlin has said that he is studying the ceasefire proposal, and a phone call between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin is possible.
After the meeting at Jeddah on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodomire Zelancesi said it was now for the US to convince Russia to agree to a “positive” proposal for the US.
Speaking with Ireland’s TaCich – or Prime Minister – Michael Martin at the Oval Office on Wednesday, Trump said he had received a “positive message” about the possibility of ceasefire.
“But a positive message means nothing,” he said. “This is a very serious situation.”
Trump did not specify which officials he was referring to.
However, Press Secretary Karolin Lewit told reporters at the White House that National Security Secretary Mike Waltz spoke to his Russian counterpart.
Earlier this week, a source told the BBC that the Middle East messenger Steve Witcoff would be the head of Moscow for talks after talks in Jeddah.
The White House confirmed the plans on Wednesday.
“We urge the Russians to sign the plan. It is the closest to which we have been for peace in this war,” Lavit said.
Kremlin has said that this proposed ceasefire and further details are studying, which spokesperson Dimitri Peskov said that during the next several days, “through various channels” will come.
At the Oval Office, Trump said that he believes that a ceasefire would be understood for Russia, adding – without further details – that “is also a very negative aspect for Russia”.
Trump said, “We have a very complex situation solved on one side.” We know that we are talking about the land we are talking about, whether he is pulling back or not pulling back. ”
To pressurize Russia, Trump said he can “do things financially”.
“It would be very bad for Russia,” he said. “I don’t want to do this because I want to get peace.”
The meeting at Jeddah was the first among the US and Ukrainian officials since the 28 February meeting between Zelansky, Trump and Vice President JD Vance, who landed in a shouting match and eventually, a stagnation in American military assistance and intelligence sharing.
The break was removed after the meeting at Jeddah, and Trump said that he believes the “difficult” Ukrainian side and Zelanski now want peace.
Even a potential ceasefire continues to negotiate, there is a decline in the fight in Ukraine.
Russian drones and missiles allegedly targeted Cryvy Rih – Graunnagar of Zelansky – overnight, as well as the ports of Odessa, Denipopatrovsk and Kharkiv.
The struggle continued in Russia’s Kursk region, where Peskov said that Russian soldiers were “successfully moving” and re -acquiring areas organized by Ukrainian forces.
And later on Wednesday, Kremlin said that President Putin visited a command post in the region. He was shown in the footage released by the Kremlin, walking with his military head Valary Garasimov, wearing a combat gear with both men.
It marked the first visit of the Russian President in the region since the infiltration of Cross the border in August last year.
The Russian media reports that President Putin ordered the army to “completely free” the region during the visit. He is yet to comment on the proposal for ceasefire by Ukraine and the US agreed by Ukraine and the US.
Ukraine’s head, Olkesendra Sirski, also indicated on Wednesday that some of its soldiers were withdrawing from the chairs. In a post on the Telegram messaging app, he said: “In the most difficult situation, my priority remains and remains the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.”
