Tiger Woods’ 15-year-old son Charlie Woods hits hole-in-one at PNC Championship

Tiger Woods’ teenage son Charlie hit his first hole-in-one during the final round of the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida – before Padraig Harrington’s son Paddy emulated the feat.

Charlie Woods, 15, birdied the par-three fourth to give the father-son team the lead in the tournament, in which 20 major champions are playing with a member of their families.

The pair finished Saturday’s first round in the lead at the PGA-backed exhibition tournament.

“It was a perfect seven-iron, so it was the right thing to hit,” Charlie Woods told Golf Channel.

“It was amazing. I didn’t think it would go in. I wouldn’t have believed anything until I went there and saw it.”

But another young player soon equaled the young Woods by making his first career hole-in-one.

About 30 minutes after Charlie Woods holed out, 21-year-old Paddy Harrington – whose father is a three-time major winner – birdied the eighth hole.

Padraig Harrington said, “I’ve never hit a shot before and been so excited.”

Tiger Woods, 48, is playing his first competitive event since the Open in July.
