The Vatican says that the Pope has a ‘isolated’ breathing crisis in the hospital.

Pope Francis, who has been struggling with pneumonia for two weeks, has created a crisis of “isolated” breathing crisis in the hospital, said by the Vatican.
It made an episode of vomiting and “bronchospasm” after cough on Friday a “sudden deterioration of his respiratory condition”.
The 88 -year -old lung was to be aspired – clean from vomiting – and he is now receiving gas through a face mask to help her breathe.
Sources in the Vatican say that the Pope’s doctors require 24–48 hours to determine whether there is any damage or its position. For now they are not diagnosing any disease.
The Pope is cautious and “in good souls”, sutras say.
In a statement, the Vatican said: “In the early afternoon, spent in the morning after morning in the chapel, the Holy father presented a distinct crisis of bronchospasm, however, however, caused an episode of vomiting with breath and sudden deteriorating respiratory conditions.
“The holy father was immediately bronchospirated and began non-incentive mechanical ventilation with a good response to gas exchange.”
Sources in the Vatican said that the latest crisis occurred at around 14:00, but did not say how long it went on.
This latest episode comes after a few days in which the Vatican’s statements were slightly more positive, talking about “minor improvements” in Pontif’s position.
He was given a Communian this morning.
In an earlier medical update this morning, the Vatican said that Pontif was showing symptoms of improvement and will remain in Jameli Hospital in Rome due to a complex clinical picture.
The Pope was admitted to the hospital after facing difficulties in breathing for several days on 14 February.
He was first treated for bronchitis before the diagnosis of pneumonia in both lungs.
Again, but 22 FebruaryThe Vatican stated that the Pope had experienced a respiratory crisis and was in a “important” position, but later released an update on Sunday, saying that he had “not any other respiratory crisis”.
The next day, the Pope issued a statement in which Catholics were asked to pray after that. He was unable to offer traditional angelus prayers in the person for the second week.,
But, while the Vatican stated that the Pope’s health is improving, it said that “the next days of clinical stability are necessary to solve pregnancy”.
Pontiff is particularly susceptible to pneumonia, an infection of lungs that can be caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungus when he contracted the pulmonary – a swelling of the lungs – as a youth and to remove a partial lung.
The leader of the Roman Catholic Church has been hospitalized several times during his 12 -year tenure, in which in March 2023, the same hospital was treated for bronchitis.
From Argentina, Pope Francis is the first Latin American and first Jesuit to lead the Roman Catholic Church.
