Tears as Jimmy Carter’s body leaves Georgia for Washington
Former President Jimmy Carter’s coffin travels from his home state of Georgia to the Carter Presidential Center in Washington, DC.
His remains will travel with his family on Special Air Mission 39 from Dobbins Air Reserve Base to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
Once in Washington, he will stay at the US Capitol for two days.
