Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams has been in space for several months. She went for a few days, but has not been able to return to Earth yet due to a malfunction in the spacecraft. While staying in the International Space Station (ISS), Sunita is participating in different activities. Recently she hosted a session for the students of Sunita Williams Elementary School in Massachusetts. In this he discussed with the students the challenges faced while drinking liquid drinks in space.

He told the students what things have to be kept in mind while drinking liquid in zero gravity. Special pouches have been designed for drinking liquid substances in space. Sunita explained how to use those pouches. Zero gravity has no effect on those pouches. In this session, students spoke directly to Sunita Williams.

It is noteworthy that Sunita Williams may return to earth by next year. She will return with Crew-9 Mission. Under the mission, two astronauts have reached ISS. When they return, the total number of passengers will be 4, which will also include Sunita Williams and her partner Butch Wilmore.

The Crew-9 mission was initially scheduled to launch in mid-August, but Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft got stuck on the ISS, due to which the Crew-9 mission reached the ISS in October. When the American space agency NASA decided that the Starliner spacecraft would be brought to Earth without a crew, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore remained on the ISS. After this, changes had to be made in the Crew-9 mission also. The mission has been designed in such a way that two astronauts go into space and when they return, they will also be accompanied by Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore.
