Spitting image and dead ringers manufacturer Bill Dare Dies

Comedy writer and producer Bill Dare, who has worked on the show including ITV’s spitting image and BBC’s Dead Ringers, has died, his agent has said.
The 64 -year -old created several award -winning satire programs for TV and radio for a long time for decades.
In a statement, his agent stated that he had “died in the weekend after an accident” but did not provide further details.
In a post on social media, Dead Ringers star John Kulshaw called Dare “the most intelligent comedy alchemist and the most beloved, the most beloved friend”.
Dare also worked on programs including The Late Edition and I never saw Star Wars.
His topical satirical show Dead Rings are set to mark their 25th anniversary on BBC Radio 4 this year.
Dare has now also built the show, there is talk of a bite on a news that ran at Radio 4 from 1998 to 2024.
Former East & Enders actress Tracy-N Oberman said on Instagram that she was “destroyed” in the news and her “full comedy was down to career bill”.
Comedy Commissioner for Radio 4 Julia McKenzie said: “Bill has been a large part of Radio 4 comedy as a writer and producer, and the audience must have heard his famous name at the end of many of his favorite shows.”
He said: “She was personally funny and very dry, when he needed to be and always pushed to maintain that comedy, and especially satire, Spieki.
“He will leave a big hole in the world of comedy and in our hearts.”
Richard Morris, a creative director of Comedy and Entertainment at BBC Studio Audio, said: “Bill was a famous person in the world of comedy and we, his friends and colleagues in the radio, will miss him immensely.
“We will remember the sharp wisdom and knowledge that he brought for every production he worked.”
In a statement released on Monday, representatives of Dare at JFL Agency said: “We are surprised and very sad to announce the death of our brilliant customer Bill Dare, who died over the weekend after an accident abroad.
“Our views are with his wife Lucy, daughter Rebecca and all the family of Bill, who will be destroyed by their loss.
“The bill was actually a great manufacturer and writer, and his comedy trend was behind anyone.”
