Southport attacker pleads guilty to triple murder

Axel Rudakubana, 18, has pleaded guilty on the first day of his trial for murdering three young girls in a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport.
Rudacabana, of Banks, Lancashire, admitted the murders of Alice da Silva Aguirre, nine, Babe King, six, and seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe on July 29, 2024.
In the last hearing, pleas of not guilty were recorded on his behalf.
But as the case was about to start at Liverpool Crown Court, Stan Reese Casey, defending, asked for his client to be charged again and he pleaded guilty to three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder as well as two counts of terrorism. Pleaded guilty in the cases. Related allegations.
