Six-month-old baby dies after car park accident

A six-month-old baby has died after a crash at a multi-storey car park in Tenby, police said.

Sophia Kellman, of Lee, Greater Manchester, was taken to hospital after the collision in Pembrokeshire on Thursday, January 2, but died the next day.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. They are being supported by specially trained officers.”

Flaviu Nagy, 33, of Wigan, is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on February 7, charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving without a license and without insurance.

A police spokesman said he was also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

He has been remanded in custody till the next court hearing.

Police said the incident happened on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.

He urged people not to speculate on the circumstances due to the ongoing live investigation.
