Singer Marien Fathful dies in 78


His spokesperson has said that singer and actress Marien Fathful died at the age of 78.
Fathful was known for the hits that included tears, which reached the UK Top 10 in 1964, and played a role in films including The Girl On A Motorcycle of 1968.
She was also the girlfriend of Mick Jagger, Frontman of Rolling Stones in the 1960s, and went to revolt her career after hitting hard times in the 70s.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of singer, lyricist and actress Marien Faithful,” a statement said.
“Marienne died peacefully in London today, in his loving family company.
“She will be dearly missed.”
