Sao Paulo storm brings floods, chaos and lightning

Due to heavy rains in Brazil’s Sao Paulo city on Friday, the transportation system got disrupted and the subway became crowded.

Electricity was reportedly cut off to thousands of homes and locals were forced to take shelter at crowded metro stations.

Cars were swept away, forcing one person to use a jet ski to travel across a flooded road.

Local reports said the chaos was caused by a month’s worth of rain falling within a matter of hours.
