Russia will not accept NATO soldiers in Ukraine, Lavrov said that after conversation with us

Russian External Affairs Minister Sergei Lavarov has said that his country will not accept the peace army from NATO countries in Ukraine under any peace agreement, after a high level of talks with the US in Saudi Arabia.
He said, “Nothing changes by armed forces under any other flag. It is definitely completely unacceptable,” he said.
Russia and the United States said that they agreed to appoint teams to start a conversation at the end of the war.
“Today is the first step of a long and difficult journey, but an important one”, US State Secretary Marco Rubio said after the meeting.
Ukraine was not invited for talks, which its chairman Volodimier Zelanski stated that there was a “surprise”.
The meeting was the first time in Riyadh that the Russian and American delegation had met face-to-face in Russia’s Ukraine.
In addition, the meeting in Saudi Arabia featured American Middle East envoy Steve Witcoff and US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, as well as Russian President’s aide Yuri Usakov and head of Russia’s Sovereign Dhan Kosh, Kiril Dimitriv.
Later, Lavarov said that the US and Russia would appoint ambassadors in each other’s countries as soon as possible and create conditions for “complete cooperation”.
“It was a very useful conversation. We listened to each other, and we heard each other,” he said.
He reiterated Russia’s previous position that any expansion of NATO Defense Alliance – and Ukraine is joining it – would be a “direct threat” for Russia.
Rubio said he was “confident” that Russia was ready to start to engage in a serious process to end the struggle.
“Concessions should be made by all parties. We are not going to determine those who are they are.”
European leaders held a hasty meeting meeting in Paris on Monday to discuss their reaction to the clear coordination between Russia and the US under President Trump – but did not agree with a unified situation.
The UK Prime Minister Sir Kire Stmper said that a “US backstop” would be required to prevent any Ukraine deal from attacking Russia again from attacking its neighbor and said that he would consider deploying Britain soldiers in Ukraine. .
But German Chancellor Olaf Scollas, a major NATO colleague, asked for his share, the discussion of sending troops to Ukraine was “completely prematurely before”.
In Riyadh, Rubio said that the European Union was “to be on the table at some point as they also have restrictions that have been imposed”.
On the absence of Ukraine at the meeting, he insisted that “any side-line is being done”.
He said, “Everyone involved in that struggle should be fine with it, it should be acceptable to them,” he said.
The Ukrainian leader Volodimier Zelancesi looked blind and disturbed when he responded to his meeting during a news conference in Türkiye.
“We want everything to be fair and so that no one decides anything behind our back,” he said.
“You cannot take decisions without Ukraine to end war in Ukraine in Ukraine.”
He will be worried about all smiles on both American and Russian faces in Riyadh, but he would know that he can do much less to change what he agrees on his head.
The Ukrainian President will also know that the possibility of opposing his country – let alone be defeated – Russian soldiers are very thin without American help.
