Russia and Ukraine attacked attack

Russia and Ukraine have launched air strikes, which damaged each other’s infrastructure, when Vladimir Putin said Russia would stop targeting Ukrainian energy sites.

Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelansky said that Russia’s goals were included in the hospital. He said that the Russian leader had rejected a widespread ceasefire in his call with US President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

Putin said that Trump a complete ceasefire would work only when Ukraine’s colleagues stopped giving military assistance – one such situation has been rejected by European allies of Ukraine earlier.

Officials in the southern Russian region of Cressnodar said that a Ukrainian drone attack opened a small fire at an oil depot.

Within a few hours of the Putin Energy Energy infrastructure agreed to stop the attacks, Zelancesi said “there are hits, especially on civil infrastructure”, including a hospital in Sumi.

Zelansky said Russia launched more than 40 drones against Ukraine in hours after a call between Trump and Putin.

“These are the attacks of this type of night by Russia that destroys the normal life of our energy field, our infrastructure and Ukrainian,” Zelancesi said.

“Today, Putin effectively rejected the proposal of a complete ceasefire.”

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said that 57 Ukrainian drones intercepted it and destroyed it overnight, 35 in the border area.

In Belgorod, a Russian region on the border with Ukraine, the governor stated that the situation remains “difficult”. Moscow said on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces attempted a ground attack on Belgorod, but were pushed back.

Putin dismissed an immediate and full ceasefire in Ukraine, only after a much awaited call with Trump, the energy agreed to stop the attacks on the infrastructure.

The Russian leader refused to sign a wider month’s ceasefire that Trump’s team recently worked with Ukrainian in Saudi Arabia.

The US talks on Ukraine are scheduled to continue in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, said Steve Witcoff, the Middle East American envoy.

About 80% of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure has been destroyed by Russian bombs, Zelancesi said last September.

Kiev in turn has deepened drones and missile strikes in the Russian sector on oil and gas facilities.
