Redmi 14C 5G India Launch January 6 120Hz Display Colors Options Confirmed Expected Specifications

Redmi 14C 5G is scheduled to be launched in India on January 6. The company has launched the 4G version of this phone i.e. Redmi 14C 4G in September itself. The phone will come with dual 5G SIM support. It will get speed up to 2.5Gbps so that video calling, fast downloading, and smooth gaming can be done in the phone without any interruption. According to the company, this phone is going to come with Starlight back panel. Now some of its main specifications have been revealed through Amazon’s microsite.

The microsite of Redmi 14C 5G on Amazon gives information about its key specifications and design. The phone will have a 6.88-inch display, which will come with 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. This is an upgrade compared to the Redmi 13C 5G, which comes with a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The company has also said that it will be an eye-safe display, which will receive TÜV Rhineland certification.

Redmi 14C 5G will be launched in three color options, namely Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple and Stargaze Black. Talking about the design, the pictures on the microsite show that the upcoming Redmi phone will have a circular camera island, which will have two camera sensors in four rings, an LED flash unit and a dummy ring.

Redmi 14C 5G will be sold on Amazon as well as Flipkart. Apart from this, customers will be able to buy the phone from the company’s official e-store.

The smartphone is expected to come with a 50-megapixel main rear camera sensor. Redmi 13C 5G was also introduced with this sensor. The recent Geekbench listing had hinted at it having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. The phone was tested on a platform with 8GB RAM and Android 14 operating system.

This could be a rebadged Redmi 14R 5G, which was launched in China in the month of September 2024. If that happens, we expect the Redmi 14C 5G to come with a 5,160mAh battery and 18W wired charging support.
