Police revealed the name of the teenager who died due to stabbing
The police have named the teenager who was stabbed to death in a village.
Tawana Choruma, 19, was found injured in Station Road, Netley, shortly before 18:30 GMT on Wednesday and died at the scene, Hampshire Police said.
Three 18-year-old men from the Southampton area have been arrested on suspicion of murderOne of them was also arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property.
A police spokesperson said: “Tawana’s family are being supported by specialist officers at this time.”
The force said a 36-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, but no further action was being taken for that offence.
The woman was also arrested for possession of an imitation firearm with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He has been released on bail.
The spokesperson also urged local residents to check their bins for any mobile phones that may have been dumped nearby.
