Police force revealed plans to ax axes to all its PCSOs

The Essex Police has revealed the plan to make all 99 of all its PCSOS meaningless in an attempt to balance its budget.

Force – and its police, fire and crime commissioner – also proposed to cut the roles of 65 other employees and reduce the salary of all other officers.

Essex police said he was given “insufficient” funding from the government and faced a budget deficiency of £ 5.3M.
