PDC World Darts Championship 2025 Results: Gary Anderson defeated by Jeffrey De Graaf

Two-time champion Gary Anderson has been dumped from the PDC World Championship by Jeffrey De Graaf on his 54th birthday.

Scotland, winners in 2015 and 2016, lost 3–0 to Sweden in the second round at Alexandra Palace in London.

De Graaf, 34, said, “Gary really didn’t look like he usually does. I’m very happy with the win.”

Anderson, seeded 14th, came into the tournament with his highest 3-dart average of the year, 99.66.

He is the 11th seeded player to be eliminated out of the 23 players who have played so far and the fifth player to be eliminated on Sunday.

De Graaf will face Filipino qualifier Paolo Nebrida after defeating 19th seed Ross Smith of England in straight sets.

Martin Schindler, Richie Edhouse and Dirk Van Duijvenbode were the other seeds to fall on day eight.
