No more ‘waste’ penny, Trump tells Treasury

US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent has been asked to widely call a one-per cent coins, or pennies by US President Donald Trump, in an announcement on his true social media account.
Trump’s post said, “Let’s rip the waste from the budget of our great nations, even if it is a penny at a time,” Trump’s post described the move as a cost-cutting measure.
This attracts attention to the cost of penis in a post on the X after the informal government efficiency department (DOGE) of Elon Musk.
Debate on the cost and utility of penis has been going on in the US for a long time.
“It is very useless,” said Trump’s true social post.
“I have instructed my secretary of American Treasury to stop production of new money.”
According to the US Mint’s 2024 annual report, the cost of making and distributing one percent coin is 3.69 cents.
US government officials and Congress members have stopped money without success in the past.
While its inhibitors have argued that zinc and copper coin is a waste of money and resources, people who support it, say that the coin keeps the prices low and increases funds raising funds for donations.
Other countries have closed the same coins. In 2012, Canada cited the cost of its one-percent coin, and its falling purchasing power due to high prices.
