New Bajaj Chetak EV launched, running 150KM in single charge, new design and cool features

Bajaj Auto has launched a new version of its electric scooter Bajaj Chetak in the Indian market. The new electric scooter is offered in 3502 variant, 3501 variant, the brand will also introduce 3503 variant later. Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is available in the market since 2020 and now it has been upgraded in 2024. New powertrain, new features and many changes in design have been made in the new electric scooter. Here we are telling you in detail about the new Bajaj Chetak EV.

Bajaj Chetak Price

The ex-showroom price of Bajaj Chetak 3502 variant is Rs 1.20 lakh, while the ex-showroom price of 3501 variant is Rs 1.27 lakh. The company will also introduce the 3503 variant of Chetak later.

Bajaj Chetak Design

Talking about design, the new Bajaj Chetak looks similar to the previous model with its new classic look and metal body. It has circular headlamps with DRL. It also gets a sleek apron that offers modern appeal along with integrated turn indicators, Chetak badges and other features. It has a long floorboard and a long single piece seat. The rear of the scooter still looks the same, with an extended tail section housing the tail lamp and the Chetak logo on the side. This electric scooter has a large boot space of 35 liters.

Bajaj Chetak Features

Talking about the features, Chetak EV has a digital instrument cluster with a 5-inch touch TFT display which provides EV related information to the rider. It offers navigation via integrated maps, the ability to accept and reject calls, music controls, document storage and more. For security, features like brand geo fence, theft alert, accident detection and overspeed alert are included. The brand has removed the mechanical switches to use tactile switches.

Bajaj Chetak Range & Power

Bajaj Chetak has a new 3.5 kWh battery pack which powers the 4 kW motor. This electric scooter can run at a top speed of 73 km per hour. Talking about range, this EV offers a range of more than 150 km on a single charge, while the real world range is 125 km. It comes with a 950W onboard charger that can charge the EV from 0 to 80 percent in 3 hours.
