Mum explores Caroline Flack’s life in documentary
The mother of late TV presenter Caroline Flack is to explore the final months of her daughter’s life in a new documentary.
Flack, who grew up in Norfolk, Took his own life in February 2020At the age of 40, her mental health deteriorated while she was facing trial for assaulting her boyfriend.
Christine Flack will shed light on these events and her daughter’s career in a film titled Caroline.
Christine said, “I still have a lot of questions about what happened to Caroline in her final months, and it’s something I feel compelled to explore in depth, even though I know that It will be challenging.”
Flack was best known for presenting the ITV reality show Love Island from 2015 to 2019, and has also appeared on The X Factor and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! But also worked as a presenter.
In 2014, he won series 12 of Strictly Come Dancing partnering professional dancer Pasha Kovalev, achieving a perfect score in the final show.
The film, which is scheduled to be released on Disney+ later this year, will include interviews with other members of Flack’s family and some of his friends.
It will be produced by Curious Films, which created Caroline Flack: her life and deathShown on Channel 4 in 2021.
Christine said, “I am delighted to once again work with the team at Curious Films in hopes of bringing clarity and understanding to Carrie’s story – not only for her, but for all those who care about her.”
