Mother and child die of injuries after Munich car attack

Police say a mother, 37 -year -old and her two -year -old daughter died on Thursday due to injuries in a car attack in the German city of Munich.
At least 37 people were injured after driving a car in a crowd of people at the trade union rally.
The driver was a 24 -year -old Afghan asylum, police said, it was identified in the local media as Farhad N. He was arrested at the scene and prosecutors say he has carried out the attack. Officials said they saw a religious inspiration.
The mother and the child were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after the attack.
Police spokesperson Ludwig Waldinger told news agency AFP on Saturday, “Unfortunately, we will have to confirm the death of a two -year -old child and his 37 -year -old mother.”
