Mom who left sons home jailed for fire deaths

A woman has been jailed for 10 years for the murder of her four sons, who died during a house fire.

Devka Rose, 30, was left alone with two sets of her home when a fire broke out at her terraced home in Sutton, south-west London, in December 2021.

Children Keson and Bryson Hoth, four, and Layton and Logan Hoth, three, were unable to escape the locked house and died under a bed.

Rose was found guilty of four counts of manslaughter following a trial at the Old Bailey last autumn.
