A woman who was abused by her former-partner has been forgiven from the Ministry of Justice, after a administrator error she is confident that she will be released from jail early.

49 -year -old Martin underwood attacked Elizabeth Hudson at his home in April 2021, before assaulting another victim on police bail.

Underwoods were not eligible for the initial release plan, but due to the “key details” missing from the court warrant, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said that Ms. Hudson could be issued by Ms. Hudson in June 2025.

Moj has now apologized for the error. Underwood will remain in jail till its standard release date.

The initial release plan left jails to deal with 1,700 criminals to deal with congestion – but he was not eligible for the program due to the aspect of the domestic misconduct of the underwood convicts.

A MoJ spokesperson said: “He will be behind bars till his standard release date. We would like to apologize to Elizabeth Hudson for this error.”

“I knew that the situation was not the reality.

Underwood was imprisoned in February 2023 for six years and three months, after the attack was after attacking real physical damage and threatening to kill Ms. Hudson.

He accepted a non-fatal suffocation against another woman, which she put on bail in two years and between Ms. Hudson attacking and going to jail.

He said that crimes related to domestic misconduct, such as underwood sentence, should be listed as an excited crime.

“We cannot prevent domestic addicts from being released from jail, as they are not listed as domestic addicts,” she said.

The Moj spokesperson thanked Ms. Hudson for “alert” for the error and said the organization was focusing on long -term reforms.
