Masters Snooker: Judd Trump beats Ding Junhui to reach semi-finals

The quarter-finals between Ding and Trump were a match of high quality in terms of scoring, with breaks of 70 or more in seven out of nine frames.
2011 Masters champion Ding got off to a great start with good contributions of 70 and 74 to take a 2-0 lead.
The left-handed Trump responded with a 75 to reduce the deficit, but when the two-time Masters winner missed an awkward red at the corner in frame four, Ding capitalized with a 72 clearance.
A break of 97 brought Trump back to within a frame at 3–2 and he brought up a half-century after Ding’s error in frame six, after which the world number nine failed to bowl another ball in the match.
The 2019 world champion was dominant from then on, completing the win with brilliant breaks of 125, 62 and 75.
