Man accused after police officers were injured

A person has been accused of attempt to murder and six other crimes after an incident at a police station in which three officers were injured.

This was done at Talbot Green Police StationRondada Sinon TAF, on Friday evening.

Alexander Stephen Dieton, 27, Lalntress, is also accused of an emergency activist, attack, arson, criminal damage, occupation of aggressive weapons and attacking with a knife/blade article.

He is scheduled to appear in front of the magistrate in Merateer Tadfil on Monday.

Two officers were rushed to the hospital and treatment for their injuries, but has been discharged since then.

Stephen Jones, the chief supte of South Wales Police, said: “I want to thank the local community and the wider public for their support and concern for the officers involved.

“Our authorities showed great bravery and quick thinking during the change and, despite much shaking, I am very happy to say that none of it suffered any major injury to any officer.”
