MahaKumbh 2025 launches Rs 59 and 99 insurance plan details on phone

MahaKumbh 2025: Mahakumbh 2025 is starting from January 13 in Prayagraj, UP. Crores of people are expected to attend this event. Preparations are being made at every level for Mahakumbh 2025. Hundreds of new trains have been run. Apps have been launched so that people can get convenience. Now payment app PhonePe has launched its own kind of insurance policy for devotees. It has been introduced in association with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Policy.

Insurance plan of Rs 59

According to reports, PhonePe has launched two types of insurance plans. The first plan is Rs 59 per person. This is for those who are going to travel by train or bus. The second plan is of Rs 99 per person, which is for those traveling on domestic flights.

Many types of costs will be covered in these insurance plans like hospitalization cost, doctor consultation, outpatient treatment, personal accident cover, trip cancellation cover, missed connecting flight cover etc.

Those going to Mahakumbh who want to take PhonePe insurance plan will have to go to the insurance section of the app. There you will find the option of ‘Maha Kumbh’, which has to be selected. After that, after reading about the entire plan, you can click on the ‘Buy Now’ option. If you are traveling by bus or train, then choose the plan of Rs 59. There is a plan of Rs 99 for those traveling by domestic flight.

It is noteworthy that the Mahakumbh Mela will start from January 13 and continue till February 25. It is the largest religious event in the world and is held once every 12 years. There are many royal baths in Mahakumbh. The first royal bath will take place on January 14. After that, Mauni Amavasya will be celebrated on 29th January and Vasant Panchami will be celebrated on 3rd February.
