Israel says Netanyahu invited to meet Trump at the White House next week

Benjamin Netanyahu has been invited to meet US President Donald Trump at the White House next week, said by the Prime Minister’s Office of Israel.
The Trump administration is yet to be confirmed, it is scheduled to be held on 4 February.
Netanyahu’s office said in a statement that Israeli is the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during PM Trump’s second term.
On Monday, while onboard Air Force One, Trump said that Netanyahu would travel to Washington to meet him without giving a specific date.
The meeting is seen in Gaza as a six -week ceasefire, as there was a deal between Israel and Hamas to stop the war.
Will come after this Trump said last week that he wanted Egypt and Jordan to take them to Palestinians From Gaza, after describing the strip as a “demolition site”.
Both Hamas and Palestinian Authority condemned the proposal. Jordan and Egypt have also rejected the idea.
