The Inviction Games Torch has been handed over to Birmingham, where the event will be staged in 2027

After the concluding ceremony of the 2025 program in Canada, the torch of the Inviction Games Birmingham has been passed.

The seventh edition of the Games, which has occurred in the last one week, has brought more than 500 contestants from 23 countries to Vancouver and Whistlel.

It comes two years before the Games, which was established by the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, held in Birmingham.

Both the injured, injured and sick military service personnel, both serving and veterans, will compete in the city across the city in 2027.

Speaking at the closing ceremony on Sunday, Prince Harry said the event was “a platform for positive changes”.

“And as long as the challenges around us demand it and it is needed … the game will run,” he said.

“Bring the INVES Games Birmingham 2027. You are allowed to party.”

UK captain Stephen “Hops” Hooper, Neil Thomas and Jemma Barns received the official flag to indicate the exchange from Whistler and Vancouver to Birmingham.

Mr. Hooper, a veteran of RAF, said that he spent a “terrible” week during the 2025 Games.

“From proposals to PBS, we have enjoyed stunning scenes and made memories for life,” he said.

“We arrived in Canada filled with anticipation – we leave more stronger, bravwar, more flexible and closer to our recovery.

“We are proud to bring the game home in Birmingham in27.”
