International Development Minister Anelisi Dods cut aid

International Development Minister Anelisi Dods has resigned in the budget budget for the Prime Minister’s deduction.

In a letter to Sir Kir starrer, Dods stated that the deduction for international assistance announced to increase the defense spending earlier this week, “would remove food and healthcare from desperate people – would deeply damage Britain’s reputation”.

He told the PM that he had delayed his resignation until after his meeting with President Trump, saying that it was “necessary a joint cabinet behind you, as you left for Washington”.

The Oxford East MP, who had previously worked as a shadow Chancellor of Sir Kir, said it was with “sadness” that she was resigning.

He said that when Sir Kir was clear that he was not “ideologically opposed” for international development, Cuts was “depicted as the following in President Trump’s severed Cuts to USAID”.

Beyond his visit to meet Trump, Sir Keir announced that the aid fund would be reduced from 0.5% GDP to increase the defense spending in 2027 in 2027.

Defending the move, the Prime Minister said that it was “a decision that I wanted to make” but said “there was no driver of poverty like migration and struggle”.

In his resignation letter, Dods warned that the cut would “be the possibility of UK bridges from many African, Caribbean and Western Balkan countries – at a time when Russia is aggressively increasing its global appearance”.

“This will probably be due to return from regional banks and a low commitment to the World Bank; the UK will be excluded from multiple multilateral bodies, and a low voice for the UK in G7, G20 and climate talks.”

Dods stated that the post -war global order had “crashed” and welcomed the increase in defense spending.

“I was ready to work with you that the expenditure was increased, something well to know that the ODA (foreign development aid) would have to come well.

“I also expected that we would collectively discuss our fiscal rules and taxation views, as other nations are doing.”

However, Dods said that instead of taking this approach, the Prime Minister had decided to allow ODA to “absorb the entire burden”.

The Prime Minister’s decision to increase defense spending from his meeting in Washington – the US President has been important for European countries for not spending enough on defense and relying on US military support.

He welcomed the UK’s commitment to spend more, but has been attacked by some of his own MPs for international development donation and the move on Sir Keer.

Dods stopped its announcement until the Prime Minister’s return from Washington, so that the important journey could not be overseen, and it was clear that she did not want to make things difficult for the Prime Minister.

But other MPs have been uncomfortable about the verdict, including Labor MP Sara Champion, who presiders the International Development Committee, who said that the assistance budget cut to fund defense spending is a false economy that will “make the world less safe only”.

Labor MP Dyne Abbott, which was important for the first cuts in the week, said it was “shameful” that other ministers did not resign with dods.

The resignation of the Dods also states that the Prime Minister feels that he has to be taken on obstacles with some views of Labor MPs, and they will combine tension between leadership and backbenchers.

Dods first became a Labor MP in 2017 when she was elected to represent Oxford East Construction.

Under the leadership of Jeremy Corbin’s Labor Party, he served as Chhaya Treasury Minister and Sir Kir was promoted as Chhaya Chancellor for taking over.

After the poor performance of labor in the local elections of 2021, they were briefly vested by women and similarities.
