Infinix Smart 9 HD phone with 5000mAh battery, front flash for better selfies will be launched in India on January 28!

Infinix Smart 9 HD is scheduled to be launched in India in a few days. The company has announced the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. Besides, its design and some key specifications have also been unveiled. The phone has already been launched in Nigeria and is now ready to enter India. A microsite of the Smart 9 HD has also been made live, which confirms that the upcoming Infinix smartphone will be sold through Flipkart. The company says that this will be the most durable phone in its segment. The phone is reported to come with MediaTek Helio octa-core processor, Android 14 Go Edition and 5,000mAh battery.

The microsite of Infinix Smart 9 HD has been made live on Flipkart. It has been confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in India on January 28 at 12 noon. It claims that the phone will be the most durable in its segment. Infinix claims that the Smart 9 HD has been drop-tested 2,50,000 times and comes with an IP54 rated build for protection against water splashes.

Infinix introduced this phone in Nigeria in December last year. The phone will come in Metallic Black, Coral Gold and Mint Green color options. It will have multi-layer glass back and color-matched frame. Smart 9 HD was launched in Nigeria with a price tag of around $90 (approximately Rs 7,787). However, there is no information about its price for the Indian market.

Infinix Smart 9 HD Specifications

Infinix Smart 9 HD has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a peak brightness of 500nits and 60/90Hz refresh rate. This phone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio octa-core processor. In Africa, it has been introduced with 3GB/4GB LPDDR4X RAM, which can be virtually expanded up to 6GB/8GB. At the same time, it was introduced in the country with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery which supports 10W charging. This phone runs on Android 14 Go Edition.

The rear of Smart 9 HD has a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.85 aperture and autofocus. It has a 5M LED flash for better illumination. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and front flash. The phone comes with DTS-based dual speakers. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone comes with 3.5mm headphone jack.
