The party’s deputy leader Richard Tice has said that the reform UK must have imposed tax on the renewable energy sector, under its plan to scrap the country’s net zero target.
Tice argued that pure-zero policies were convicted for high energy bills and disintegration in Britain.
He said the renewable energy was a “large -scale con” and promised that the reform would recover the amount paid for the wind and solar companies in subsidy.
“British people are being exploded by the renewable industry,” Tice said at a news conference.
He suggested that a “generation tax” and a “special corporation tax” would cover the cost of government funds for renewable energy.
Boston and Skgnes MP said, “British people need to know that there is a direct connection between the cost of all these subsidies that are for the inherent interests in the renewable industry and your bills.”
The party did not share much information about how taxes would be worked in practice, including which rate renewal will be taxed, or how much revenue will be increased.
TCE also announced a plan to levy taxes on solar farms, and passed new laws to pass new laws.
The deputy leader of the reform said that “we will scrap Net Stuid Zero” if the party won the next general election.
Currently, there are five MPs at the Rebranded Braxit Party after winning 14% votes at the national level in last year’s general election.
Cold on pure void
The position of the party on energy and pure zero is clearly contradictory with the labor government, which wants to remove almost all fossil fuels from UK power generation by 2030.
Labor is expanding renewable energy and said that in its election manifesto, it will invest £ 8.3 billion in a state -owned clean energy company Great British Energy in five years.
Governments worldwide are investing in renewable to meet international climatic goals by 2050 and to complete low carbon emissions for “net zero”.
Electricity is rapidly generating from renewable energy in Britain, and the cost of renewable production has fallen significantly in the last decade.
Labor promised to bring down the domestic energy bills “up to £ 300 by 2030 – and Energy Secretary Ed Milliband stands with the pledge.
But UK Energy Bill increased in JanuaryAnd is expected to grow again in April.
The main reason for high energy prices in the UK has increased the price of gas, which has been the biggest source of fuel over the years.
With energy costs on the up, and President Donald Trump promised to drill for more fossil fuels in the US, reform UK has focused on the cost of renewal.
Voting continuously suggests that most people support net-zero policies and are concerned about the environment.
But standing with his deputy, Reform leader Nigel Faraj said it was “irrelevant” if he felt that climate change was real.
He argued that Britain would dwarf with the scale of carbon emissions in other countries, such as China and India.
Sama Hall, director of Conservative Environment Network, said that reforms would be the UK plans “will cause domestic bills to touch the sky and draw a rug on energy firms”.
He said, “We should highlight homegron energy that can make us more energy safe and self -sufficient, cannot block the new supply and reduce investors’ confidence,” he said.
He said that the problem was “pure zero, it is our dependence on expensive gas imports and excessive government intervention in energy markets”.
