Homes and roads submerged by flood waters in Brazil

A state of emergency has been declared in southern Brazil after heavy rains caused flooding in coastal cities including Balneario Camboriú and Itapema.

Footage showed partially submerged cars driving through flooded roads and Itapema Mayor Alexandre Zepa calling for help and rescue assistance.
