Historical these Olde called Swiss Cottage Pub Time

A historic north-west London pub, which was named a tube station and the surrounding area, was called time after about two centuries after time.
Preachers are hoping that these Olde Swiss Cottages could be saved after its operator, Samuel Smith’s liquor, shut down the pub on Saturday.
The liquor furnace did not answer the questions of BBC London on the fate of a specificly designed pub.
Joan Scott stated from the Real Elle’s campaign that its shutdown was “real loss for the local community and also for London”.
Both Swiss Cottage Tube station and local area took their names from the pub which has been standing on the site since the 1830s.
It is not known why it was designed in the style of Swiss Shaile, but has become a local milestone.

The pub building is not listed or a property of community value that may be obstacles to any attempt to save it.
Ms. Scott said: “There is a pub on the site for 200 years and there are many pubs in this area, so it is important to keep it as a pub.”

The last day it was open, locals faced the closure of the pub.
A patron told BBC London: “You choose a pub with a different atmosphere – many of them are now becoming like clones.”
Another person said: “This is one of the institutions that you have always seen in London.”

I closed more pubs First six months of 2024 According to the London assembly pub audit, compared to elsewhere in England.
“Pubs are in the center of every city and city of this country,” a writer and pub expert Thomas J. Vasper said.
“They are often centers for the community,” they said.
“They are the place where you can go and celebrate the birthday party. You can go and be happy in your football team. Or maybe you can do a pint and commission, or a difficult with a friend You can interact when you need it. “
It is not clear what will happen to the old Swiss cottage site that is moving forward.
