Igamane scored twice in an impressive Europa League win against Nice, while he was also on target in the home draw with Tottenham in the same competition.

“He loves nutmeg, he’s a showboater sometimes,” Dodds said. “He’s very positive, he works very hard and leads really well.”

Right now, Igamane is undoubtedly the first-choice striker at Ibrox ahead of Danilo and Cyrille Dessers, whose combined fees exceed £10m.

And manager Philippe Clement believes there is still more to come.

“I had a lot of questions at the start of the season about why we got a young guy from Morocco, so he’s showing everyone his ability,” the Ibrox manager told BBC Scotland.

“In the last three or four months he has progressed massively. Technically, tactically and, of course, physically. He is a smart boy and he wants to learn.”
