Friends to be cautious for teenage boys killed on the road

Schoolboy Amen Techle’s friends will create a vigilance in Glasgow, later a police investigation continues to murder his murder.

Amen’s support activist Jamie O’Neel said that it was open to come with everyone.

“The last few days have been a mixture of sorrow and numbness, and people share the stories of happiness when they speak of Amen,” he said.

“His young friends in school were wondering what he could do and came with the idea that he should conduct a vigilance.

“This is his way of paying tribute to his friend, coming together and supporting each other.”

Police Scotland said that his investigation into Amen’s death was going on.

Emergency services participated in the incident on Clarenden Street at 22:30 pm on Wednesday, but the teenager was declared dead on the spot.

Amen, who is originally from Eritrea, lived with his father in Glasgow and was recently given the right to give ‘Bani’ status in Britain.

He told BBC Scotland News that Amen “was not just my brother, he was my best friend”.

He said that he was “really cute person, so kind and so bright”.

Police Scotland launched a major investigation into Amen’s death.
