French customs officers have found nine dinosaurs to teeth during a regular check -up near the Italian border.

Officials say the discovery used to inspect a Spanish lorry on the A8 motorway on 28 January.

He saw clear fossils in two parcels and sent them to the nearby city of Manton for examination by a Pragithethas Museum.

Officials said on Friday, an expert revealed that the teeth belonged to reptiles from late Creteseous period – 72 to 66 million years ago – in Morocco, officials said.

Lauries traveling on the A8 motorway between Spain and Italy are regularly stopped.

Agents open parcels randomly as they are sometimes illegal drugs, the customs Samantha Worduron told the AFP news agency.

But the latest race was unexpected.

One of the recognized teeth belonged to Zarafasaura Oceanis, a marine reptiles, measuring about 3 meters (10 ft) and nominated in Morocco in 2011.

Three one belonged to Mosasorus, a large aquatic creature measured up to 12 meters.

Five other teeth are believed to have a dyrosaurus phosphiticus, a distant ancestor of crocodiles.

Laurie driver told the officials that he was distributing parcels to people in Jenoa and Italian cities of Milan, French officials said.

Officers are working to identify the recipients of the packages. Gathering fossils is legal, but they often require licenses to export.
