Five skiers killed in French Alps avalanche


On Wednesday, five skiers were killed in two separate avalanche at the French Alps, confirmed by local authorities.
In the southeastern Savoi region, a torrent of snow, four Norwegian skiers died in Wel-Senis, while a Swiss skier died north in the Haute-Sevoi region near Chamonics.
Three of the Norwegians were immediately killed, while a fourth, a woman, a woman, died of severe hypothermia and a cardirespiratory arrest, died in a nearby hospital.
