Elon Musk’s appearance at Trump’s rally this afternoon is drawing significant attention online over the one-armed gesture.
He said this while thanking his supporters for contributing to Trump’s victory. Musk thanked the crowd for “making this happen” before placing his right hand over his heart and then throwing that same hand in the air directly in front of him.
He said, “I express my condolences to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured.”
Many users on the social media platform X, which he owns, compared the gesture to a Nazi salute.
Musk has not commented since making his appearance at the Capital One Arena rally.
