Conor McGregor ordered to pay Nikita Hand’s legal costs
A judge has ruled that MMA star Conor McGregor must pay the legal costs of a woman who accused him of rape.
a jury McGregor was found liable in a civil case Nikita Hand and ordered him to pay damages of approximately €250,000 (£207,000) to Ms Hand.
He has now been asked to pay his legal costs at the next hearing on Thursday.
James Lawrence – who was accused of rape by Miss Hand but found not liable – will not be charged.
The judge said this was a “unique and unique case” and McGregor could face proceedings for the social media posts.
McGregor, who denies the allegations, has already said he will appeal.
