City of Fife with Christmas lights designed by children
Newburgh in Fife is lit up with Christmas lights designed by the town’s children.
This year, 10-year-old Loclan won the competition with his drawing, which was selected to be made into light.
The Christmas Swan joins dozens of other illuminated characters for the festive season.
It now hangs with a three-legged reindeer, a happy carrot and a dinosaur with a star on its head.
Lochlan’s Swan was brought to life by lighting specialists Blachere Illuminations, a company that also designs lights for Blackpool, the Shard and the Champs-Élysées.
