CIA says that ‘more likely’ Covid-19 ran away from a laboratory. Coronavirus epidemic news

The intelligence agency says it has ‘less confidence’ on the evaluation and will continue to evaluate reliable information.
The CIA has announced that it believes the Covid-19 epidemic is “more likely” to arise from laboratory leakage compared to a natural phenomenon.
The CIA’s “low confidence” assessment came after John Ratcliffe on Thursday as a director of the top intelligence agency under the United States President Donald Trump.
A spokesperson said on Saturday, “The CIA assessment continues that both research and natural origin of COVID-19 epidemic remain commendable.”
“We have less confidence in this decision and we will continue to evaluate any available reliable new intelligence reporting or open-source information that can change the evaluation of the CIA.”
American media reported that the evaluation was ordered under the administration of former US President Joe Biden and it was completed before Rachliff took over.
Following the CIA’s announcement, three US agencies, including the FBI and the Department of Energy, have now publicly supported the principle that COVID-19 probably came out of a laboratory in Wuhan, China.
The Chinese embassy in Washington, DC rejected the CIA assessment, stating that “the misleading conclusions, throw dirty water at China and keep on trapping.”
“It is still an old routine of political manipulation to detect the source and has no credibility. Embassy spokesman Liu Pengu said, “The source of the virus is a complex scientific issue and scientists and experts should find an answer through rigorous and careful scientific research rather than deciding by politicians.”
“We strongly oppose the politicization and slander of the source of the virus, and once again call upon everyone to respect science and stay away from the principles of conspiracy.”
Liu stated that China “always followed a sense of science, openness and transparency” and pointed to a joint study of the 2021 World Health Organization-China, concluding that a laboratory leak was “extremely unnatural”.
Four other American intelligence agencies and the National Intelligence Council have stated that they believe the virus has probably emerged through natural transmission.
In an interview with Breetbart News on Friday, Ratcliffe said that COVID’s origin would be a “day-a” priority.
“As you know, I have said on a record that I think our intellect, our science and our general knowledge actually decide that the origin of COVID was a leak in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. But the CIA has not assessed that or at least that assessment is not done publicly, “Ratcliffe, who served as the National Intelligence Director during Trump’s first term, told the outlet.
“So I am going to focus on it and look at the intelligence information and make sure that the public is going to know that the agency is going to marginalize.”
