Channing Tatum visits Welsh pub with Ryan Reynolds
“I’m buying a round for everyone here.”
Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds arrived at a Wrexham pub with celebrity friends including Channing Tatum and offered to have a drink.
Deadpool star Reynolds, who co-owns League One side Wrexham AFC, surprised customers when he arrived at the Fat Boar on Friday night with Magic Mike star Tatum, who also appeared in the latest Deadpool and the Wolverine film.
And he was joined by fellow actor Brandon Sklenar, who starred in It End’s With Us alongside Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively.
The three celebrities posed for pictures with fans.
Reynolds took to the pub’s microphone to wish customers a Merry Christmas and offered to buy everyone a drink.
He joked: “If I don’t come over to see you all at their house tonight, I just want to say happy holidays.”
In a video shared on social media, Reynolds also said he was “excited” ahead Wrexham’s home game against Cambridge United on Saturday afternoon.
Wrexham has come a long way since he and fellow actor Rob McElhenney completed their Capture In 2021.
After a 15-year absence, Wrexham are relegated back to the Football League from the fifth tier of football – the National League.
They achieved promotion from League Two at the first attempt and are currently second in League One.
In October, Reynolds and McElhenney announced that they had taken Co-ownership of Wrexham Lager Which already sponsors Wrexham AFC and is said to be the oldest British lager brewery still in existence.
