During the trial, the prosecutors portrayed the brothers as “Team Mia”, put the family’s loyalty to the truth, each supported the refusal of his brothers and tried to discredit the witnesses.
While sentenced, Judge An place said: “You were aware of each other’s sexual harassment and conduct at different times.
“The bonds connecting all three together are strong and it will look unwavering.”
He stopped them from signing the register of sexual criminals for life, complying with sexual disadvantage prevention orders and contacting them with their victims.
‘Long and complex’
Speaking after the sentence, Cumbria Police’s Det C C Insply John Graham-Cumming, said it was a “long and complex investigation” that included officers in other areas of the country.
He said, “The defendants hunted young girls and also used the dangers of violence to warn them to tell what was happening to the authorities,” he said.
“In this case the victims and witnesses have shown bravery and courage.”
