British drug loses hands and legs in Ukraine strike

A British drug who voluntarily lost his leg and hand in a suspected drone attack in Ukraine told the BBC that he feels “lucky” despite his injuries.

Asked if he regrets him, Eddie replied: “Nothing.” He said: “I have found a family here, I have found a goddess.
“I have a life here and if it means that I spend one hand and a leg for that life, it is what it is.”
He said that his family struggled to understand why he chose a volunteer in Ukraine, but said that his father is to travel to the country next week.

Eddie, who is originally from the Dorset, has been in Ukraine in Ukraine for two and a half years, first working as a sailor on superhetes.
He originally planned to deploy along with others from abroad, who supported the protecting Ukraine against the full -scale invasion initiated by Russia in February 2022.
