Before and after the Pacific Palisades wildfire

Palisades Village and Pacific Palisades are devastated by fires throughout Los Angeles.

A walking tour video filmed by lifestyle bloggers Simran and Ishaan in March last year shows the lush gardens, villas, luxury shops and sea views that were once characteristic of the area.

But ten months later, as fires ravaged the neighborhood, a Reuters cameraman retraced the steps of the walking tour, with footage showing charred shells of buildings, damaged cars and streets covered in ash and debris.
