BBC correspondent on Storm Darragh
Millions of people in Wales and parts of south-west England have been told to stay at home as forecasters warn of danger to life as Storm Darragh brings winds of more than 90mph.
BBC reporter Ollie Constable, reporting from Bangor, Wales, said, “We can feel the rain hitting us… and sometimes it feels like sandpaper is being sanded across the side of your face ”
He was deployed in a secure area, in the open and away from water.
