Ball-kicking protesters in Georgia condemn new President Mikhail Kavelashvili protests
Georgia’s ruling party has elected former football player Mikhail Kavelashvili as the country’s new president. It is a blow to the hopes of pro-EU protesters who took to the streets kicking footballs and carrying red cards.
